Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Lead teams to manage professional services projects, including installation, preventive maintenance, and warranty repair of liquid cooling solutions in the data center space.
  • Drive, coordinate, and maintain project timelines.
  • Lead and partner with engineers, sales, and third-party contractors to ensure timely delivery of scheduled services.
  • Direct outside activities and third-party installation project scheduling, site walks, and training.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and verify sophisticated engineering design
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Apply technological expertise to specific projects.
  • Lead a portfolio of projects to ensure projects on track and raise any project roadblocks.
  • Assist in the development of project timelines.
  • Track Project Portfolio KPI's.
  • Work to continuously improve project processes in order to improve customer satisfaction.


YOU HAVE:

  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in project or program management in the data center space.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Ability to work 100% remote anywhere in the US and travel on average 25% of the time, including international travel.
  • Knowledge of Data Center construction is helpful.
  • Knowledge of business systems such as CAD software applications, along with skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven skills in prioritization, efficiently implementing schedules, and rapid changes in customer demand.
  • Ability to develop projects and initiatives, measure, and deliver results.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and thermal principles preferred, but not essential.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

This position is posted in multiple locations and as such, the expected job-based pay scale may vary based on the location per the table below:

Compensation Range:

Geographic Region A: $107,100.00 - $198,900.00Geographic Region B: $89,300.00 - $165,800.00Geographic Region C: $98,200.00 - $182,300.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
