Project Details:
This Sr. Engineer is responsible for the design, architecture and deployment of data discovery and inventory platform.
Requirements:
  • 10 years full-stack engineering experience (Must have experience in Python and Java).
  • Background in Data Discovery or Data Protection is ideal.
  • Experience in Security Engineering, implementing security tools is ideal.
  • Technical Engineering - Administers tools and processes which implement Privacy and Data Protection controls including demonstrated working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including working with REST APIs. Experience in data structure and inspection technologies such as: JSON, XML, REGEX, Python are required.
  • Technical Engineering - Expertise in at least one language such as Java or Python. Familiar with data structures, algorithms, runtime complexity, API, and database design, as well as unit and functional test methodologies.
  • Technical Excellence - Maintains a strong knowledge of Bank technologies, processes, procedures, and industry standards. Experience in software development, testing and code review in one or more general purpose languages, agile methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Technical Planning - Engages extensively in planning of specialized technical projects, including development of time estimates, identification of technical dependencies, scoping, and managing potential risks.
  • Technical Architecture - Provides insight to management allowing the strategic alignment of technologies with business needs. Facilitates system modifications or architectural changes.
  • Collaboration - Effectively collaborates with others on technical issues and initiatives, acting as the primary escalation point for technology-related team concerns across the enterprise.
  • Experience supporting BigID and OneTrust solutions is preferred.
