Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Director, Data Center Solutions to accelerate growth within the rapidly expanding data center market. This individual contributor role will focus on selling integrated support services solutions, including Facilities Management and other critical support services, through new business acquisition, cross-selling, and strategic account expansion.

The Senior Sales Director will serve as a consultative partner to clients, developing customized solutions that address complex operational and business challenges. This role requires strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to navigate sophisticated sales cycles while building long-term client relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes.

The position can be based anywhere in the continental United States and requires up to 50% travel.

What You'll Do
Business Development & Client Growth
  • Drive new business acquisition, cross-selling, and account growth within the data center sector by leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through contracting and implementation.
  • Engage executive-level stakeholders to understand business priorities, develop customized solutions, negotiate complex multi-year agreements, and deliver compelling financial and operational value propositions.
  • Partner across operations, finance, marketing, HR, legal, and subject matter experts to develop integrated solutions, support retention efforts, and ensure long-term client success.
Sales Planning, Forecasting & CRM Management
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline within Salesforce, maintaining accurate forecasting, reporting, and opportunity management while executing sales plans aligned to growth and revenue objectives.
  • Utilize CRM data, win/loss analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to improve sales effectiveness and drive data-informed decision-making.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the data center industry, leveraging insights to shape sales strategies, influence solution development, and identify new avenues for growth.
  • Share customer and market intelligence with internal stakeholders to support innovation, pricing strategies, and long-term business planning.

What You Bring
  • Experience selling Facilities Management, Integrated Facilities Services, Engineering Services, Workplace Services, or outsourced support services.
  • Experience selling to data center operators, colocation providers, hyperscalers, cloud infrastructure organizations, or other mission-critical environments.
  • Advanced understanding of enterprise solution selling, financial modeling, contract negotiations, and multi-year service agreements.Experience working successfully in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience engaging executive-level decision-makers and influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
