Role: Operational Systems Analyst (Intralogistics)

Department: Automation 

Location: Remote, United States


At Storage Solutions, the Operational Systems Analyst (Intralogistics) plays a critical role in supporting the successful design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of automated warehouse and material handling systems. This position partners closely with clients, internal engineering and software development teams, and third-party providers to analyze operational needs, evaluate system functionality, and support integrated automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and throughput performance.


The Operational Systems Analyst (Intralogistics) is responsible for interpreting operational and system data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and helping define system logic, functionality, and operational requirements. This role supports both project implementation and post-go-live operational activities by assisting with system testing, documentation, training, troubleshooting, and Hypercare support efforts.


Success in this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.


*Up to 25% Travel Required


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and define preferred system and operational solutions 
  • Analyze complex operational and system data to identify trends, defects, gaps, and improvement opportunities 
  • Develop a clear understanding of system requirements, operational rules, and system functionality 
  • Support system simulations, evaluations, and solution validation activities
  • Document and communicate system evaluations, operational requirements, and project execution needs 
  • Generate the functional description of operation documentation for assigned projects
  • Assist the software implementation team included development of the functional specification document.
  • Provide operational and systems support during implementation and post-go-live phases, including Hypercare support 
  • Deliver training, mentoring, and guidance to team members and operational users as needed 
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams 
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support implementation, observation, training, troubleshooting, and operational analysis 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety expectations
