Facets Data Analyst / SQL Developer
Location: Remote
Employment Type: W2 Only | Contract
We are seeking an experienced Facets Data Analyst / SQL Developer with deep technical expertise in the Facets data model and a proven track record of delivering custom Facets solutions in high-paced healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional SQL development skills, a deep understanding of Facets architecture, and hands-on experience with member portal integration and modernization initiatives.

This role requires an individual who can work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, and translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, develop, and support custom extensions and enhancements within the Facets platform

  • Lead data mapping and integration efforts using Facets APIs for modernization of member portal platforms

  • Develop optimized SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform data from Facets databases

  • Leverage AWS services (SQS/SNS) via BOTO3 for seamless 3rd-party system integrations

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and internal teams to define, refine, and deliver on project requirements

  • Ensure technical documentation and data models are up to date and align with enterprise standards

  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and fast-paced delivery cycles

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Facets Data Analysis and Custom Development

  • Deep understanding of the Facets data model and its application in healthcare payer systems

  • Advanced SQL development experience, with a focus on performance tuning and ETL processes

  • Proficiency in .NET development, specifically within the context of Facets extensions

  • Experience integrating Facets with 3rd-party systems and APIs

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS) and scripting using BOTO3

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a Facets modernization or member portal integration project

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements
