Position Overview
Following the acquisition, our company has doubled its customer base, necessitating a strengthening of our Pricing Team to maintain profitability and meet demand. We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to lead key strategic projects and ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable pricing. The Pricing Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing material costs, driving project-based pricing, and managing surcharge/tariff-related adjustments. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle increased, fast-paced workloads and provide immediate support to cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Project Management: Assist with major, ongoing projects, specifically Quarterly Material Adjustments, the Re-pricing of Low Margin Parts and Surcharge/Tariff Management initiatives to protect and enhance profitability.
• Material Cost Reviews: Conduct thorough, timely analysis of material costs for new products to ensure accurate initial pricing and subsequent material adjustments.
• Product Setup & Revisions: Serve as a reliable, expert backup for New Part Setup and Revision Changes in our ERP systems.
• Data Analysis & Profitability: Analyze product cost, customer, and market data to identify trends, mitigate price erosion, and identify margin opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Engineering teams to align pricing strategies with production capabilities and market demands.
• System Integrity: Ensure accuracy of pricing within the ERP system.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 3–5+ years in a pricing or estimating role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel (modeling, analysis).
• Specific Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in determining manufactured part costs, BOM (Bill of Materials) analysis, and manufacturing labor/material costing.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Targeted Experience: Prior experience with surcharge/tariff management or re-pricing strategies is highly desirable.
• Candidate Profile: Highly detailed, analytical, and capable of working independently.
