  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

A leading music streaming company seeks a Senior Data Analyst, People Analytics to support HR reporting, analytics, and compliance initiatives by maintaining data integrity, delivering actionable insights, and ensuring accurate people-related reporting. This role plays a key part in supporting ongoing People Analytics operations through dashboard management, data analysis, Workday reporting, and stakeholder-driven reporting requests in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Senior Data Analyst, People Analytics Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, audit, and deliver recurring People Analytics dashboards and weekly/monthly reports, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, auditability, and timely completion of reporting deliverables.
  • Support people-related compliance reporting activities by preparing, validating, and assisting with the submission of required data while documenting reporting logic, metric definitions, and data sources, and escalating data quality concerns as needed.
  • Develop and refine SQL queries to extract, join, validate, and analyze data from HR systems and reporting sources, while supporting Workday reporting activities, including data extraction, troubleshooting, and basic report configuration and development.
  • Prepare analyses and insights in response to stakeholder requests, communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences, and balance ad hoc reporting needs against recurring reporting priorities.
  • Leverage approved AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, support query development, summarize findings, document reporting logic, and streamline reporting processes while maintaining employee data privacy and confidentiality.

Senior Data Analyst, People Analytics Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; a Master's degree may substitute for some experience based on organizational guidelines.
  • Experience in analytics or reporting within People Analytics, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, or a similar data-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to pull, join, validate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms, including reporting, data structures, data extracts, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Experience maintaining business intelligence dashboards and recurring reporting processes with a strong emphasis on data quality, accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Experience utilizing approved AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, or similar technologies) to improve reporting efficiency and analytical workflows while maintaining confidentiality standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain metrics, limitations, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Shift:
  • Remote: EST business hours for candidates located in the United States.
