Hanwha Vision America – Data Analyst Intern (Summer 2026)

Location: Teaneck, NJ
Duration: 8–12 weeks | June 1, 2026 – August 15, 2026
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Location: Teaneck office

Program Overview:

Hanwha Vision America (HVA) is an affiliate of the Hanwha Group, a Fortune Global 500 company. HVA is an industry-leading provider of advanced network video surveillance products, including IP cameras, storage devices, and video management systems, founded on world-class technologies. We offer end-to-end security solutions and have achieved global success across a wide range of industry verticals, including retail, transportation, education, banking, healthcare, hospitality, and airports.

Hanwha Vision America’s immersive summer internship program is designed for rising interns who are eager to directly support a better customer experience. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student who is developing strong analytical and technical skills and wants to see how data directly influences customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business decisions. Your work will help teams understand how customers interact with our support organization, identify friction points, and make informed improvements that impact satisfaction, efficiency, and service quality.

HVA is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support our Customer Experience and Support teams by helping turn data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you will work closely with experienced customer experience/support leaders to analyze support and customer data, build dashboards, and help tell the story behind the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of dashboards and visual reports that help teams understand customer experience trends and support performance
  • Assist in building and maintaining reports using reporting tools (such as Zendesk Explore and Power BI)
  • Help collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources to ensure it is accurate and usable
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities related to customer experience and support operations
  • Collaborate with team members to understand reporting needs and translate questions into data insights
  • Help document metrics, dashboards, and reporting logic to improve clarity and consistency
  • Monitor data quality and flag inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement
  • Learn and apply best practices in data visualization and storytelling
  • Participate in training sessions, knowledge sharing, and mentoring opportunities

Qualification:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and customer experience
  • Foundational knowledge of Power BI or a strong desire to learn it quickly
  • Familiarity with SQL-style logic, formulas, or scripting used in reporting tools (experience with Zendesk Explore is a plus, but not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general comfort working with data
  • Exposure to one or more programming or analysis tools such as Python or R (academic or personal projects acceptable)
  • Ability to manage time effectively, ask questions, and learn in a fast-paced environment
