Senior Data Analyst

The Role

We have an outstanding technology opportunity in the Core & Common Data Products and Solutions Technology Team (formerly UCP) that is building a 360-degree view of the customer, focusing on person-level, profile data. As Senior Data Analyst you will strongly influence and contribute to the design and development of data services in support of our suite of products.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems analysis or data analysis. Data engineering skills are a plus. Being 'in the data' is a core responsibility.
  • You have expertise in capturing business requirements and translating them to data solutions. You are skilled at effectively defining use cases and simplifying complex concepts.
  • You can define user stories and validate the impact of changes to datasets and data models. You can break up complex work into digestible work elements with a good, applied knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
  • You have expertise in querying and analyzing data using SQL and Oracle and can independently wrangle complex datasets to obtain valuable insights.
  • You have deep data analysis and data profiling skills .
  • You understand and communicate sophisticated concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical. You make the complicated simple and understand what is important about the data.
  • You are passionate about data, data quality, and want to be a subject matter expert in our data and have the skills to do so.
  • You are energized by finding the outliers in data, can define robust test scenarios, and will be a strong partner for the engineers in your team, sharing in the work to produce the best possible data product.
  • You have experience navigating integrated enterprise data and working across multi-functional teams. You can identify alternative approaches and make recommendations on the benefits and shortcomings of each approach.
  • You are known as a go-getter, with the ability to unravel a mystery - data, business process or organizational.
  • You apply data management and data modeling practices when building data solutions.
  • You are not afraid to ask questions, challenge assumptions and are an effective communicator with a good ability to cultivate relationships both within your immediate team and across business units. You should quickly become a sought-after voice in your team.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data lakes and Cloud data platforms such as Snowflake is a plus.

You will be part of the Core & Common Data Products and Solutions Technology Team (formerly UCP) that provides data capabilities to personalize incredible customer experiences and develop solutions that drive a lifetime of engagement. The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$153,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
