We are an ambitious reporting team that works to solve complex business scenarios and are looking for another innovative developer to join us. You will meet directly with the stakeholders working as a trusted advisor to help identify and design interactive reporting solutions based on the needs of our customer even when those needs are not apparently clear.  Creativity and out of the box thinking will be necessary to provide solutions that will provide actionable information to different teams across the organization.  You will use various data query and visualization tools (PowerBI, Snowflake, SQL, Python,  etc.) to access multiple data sources and design insightful products for our business partners. You will work with various teams, each with unique backgrounds and perspectives, to develop solutions.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI models to extract intelligence from call and chat transcripts
  • Interpret results from various data analyses, including queries, analytic models and operational processes
  • Provide story-telling and other actionable reporting of results to Consumer Engagement business partners
  • Uncover the true unmet need of our business partners, and deliver solutions that make it simple for them to answer their most pressing questions
  • Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  • Translate highly technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Work with technical teams to review and troubleshoot reporting and data issues
  • Work with cross functional teams to leverage more efficient business intelligence processes / architecture
  • Document processes, best practices, and reporting requirements
  • Work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Coach, provide feedback, guide others and act as a resource for others with less experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 year experience working with SQL, Python or other performing data analysis (or equivalent)
  • 2 year experience working with data in PowerBI, Tableau, Excel (or equivalent)
  • Experience in analysis, problem solving, follow-through, and resolution
  • Proven competent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Databricks and Snowflake development experience
  • Project management experience
  • Predictive Analytics or Data Science experience
  • Agile and scrum experience
  • Proven health care or insurance data background
  • Proven creativity and strong willingness to think outside the box when building solutions

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
