Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

Diverse Agile Solutions (DAS) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to support enterprise Salesforce initiatives for higher education and government-focused clients. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and Salesforce enthusiast who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, driving innovation, process improvement, and customer success through the Salesforce platform.

The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business objectives, processes, requirements, and desired outcomes
  • Translate customer and operational needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, and Platform Teams to deliver Salesforce-based solutions
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation
  • Design and document workflows, business process models, wireframes, mockups, and system diagrams
  • Demonstrate Salesforce platform capabilities and AppExchange solutions that align with business needs
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and product demonstrations
  • Support Agile project delivery by participating in sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, product roadmaps, emerging technologies, and AppExchange innovations
  • Ensure alignment between Salesforce best practices, business requirements, and technical architecture
  • Provide business and systems expertise throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Assess enterprise business needs and recommend scalable Salesforce solutions and enhancements

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience leading discovery workshops and documenting business requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) required
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud implementations
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Experience creating business process maps, user stories, wireframes, mockups, and functional specifications
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, and CRM best practices
  • Experience maintaining documentation, requirements traceability, and system design artifacts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting USM and/or UMGC environments preferred
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Education Cloud Consultant certification preferred
