Field Engineer

We are seeking a Field Engineer responsible for various wireless infrastructure projects, including Small Cell, DAS, Tower Modifications, and LTE Deployments. This role involves managing construction vendors, reviewing designs, and ensuring adherence to all applicable standards. The position requires frequent travel to project sites across Florida and a self-motivated individual with a strong background in the wireless construction field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects such as Small Cell, DAS, COWs/COLTs, Tower Modifications, Generator Installs, New Builds, LTE Deployments, and Relocations.
  • Review equipment layouts and designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage construction vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce Detailed Scopes of Work (DSOW) for installation contractors.
  • Learn and adhere to all applicable NSTD Standards.
  • Conduct remote site visits and attend meetings as required.
  • Update internal web-based tracking tools daily with site status.

Required Qualifications

Education: An Electrical Engineering (EE) degree or equivalent experience in the wireless industry is required. The degree requirement may be waived for candidates who can demonstrate masterful knowledge of site equipment installation.

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in the wireless construction field is required.

Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience with Ericsson LTE and Alcatel Lucent CDMA equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $40.00 and $45.00 per hour. Further details on benefits will be provided to eligible candidates.
