(remote in location) The Lead Intelligence Data Architect serves as the subject matter expert and functional owner for how Humana's cyber threat intelligence is collected, organized, kept current, and made usable across enterprise information security teams and tools. This role ensures Humana's threat intelligence is structured and maintained so it can be reliably referenced by both analysts and the AI-driven and automated systems that leverage it. The Lead sets the standards, drives continuous improvement in how threat intelligence is structured and made usable, and shapes how threat intelligence supports Humana's information security focused AI and automation initiatives.

The Lead Intelligence Data Architect serves as the subject matter expert and functional owner for how Humana's cyber threat intelligence is collected, organized, kept current, and made usable across enterprise information security teams and tools. This role ensures Humana's threat intelligence is structured and maintained so it can be reliably referenced by both analysts and the AI-driven and automated systems that leverage it. The Lead sets the standards, drives continuous improvement in how threat intelligence is structured and made usable, and shapes how threat intelligence supports Humana's information security focused AI and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) Ownership

  • Own Anomali ThreatStream administration, configuration, and platform strategy
  • Manage feeds, integrations, data quality, and platform governance
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to CTI analysts and stakeholder teams on threat intelligence data structure, integration, and delivery

Structure and Organize Threat Intelligence

  • Set and evolve the standards, methods, and best practices for how Humana's cyber threat intelligence is structured, maintained, and delivered so it is usable by both analysts and AI systems
  • Design and maintain how Humana's cyber threat intelligence is organized so it is consistent, searchable, and reusable - structuring it so AI agents and automated systems can reliably query and consume it
  • Build the workflows and pipelines that turn analytical work into structured intelligence records optimized for both human use and AI consumption

Integrate Threat Intelligence with Stakeholder AI and Automation

  • Own the technical relationship with stakeholders that consume CTI data through AI agents, automated systems, and other tools
  • Manage API access, data versioning, and analytics on how CTI data is being used by downstream systems
  • Work with consuming teams to understand what threat intelligence their AI and automation workflows need, and ensure it is available in a form those systems can use
  • Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and processes that impact how CTI supports security operations, detection engineering, and vulnerability management

Collection Management

  • Own the collection plan and ensure sources are aligned to intelligence requirements and stakeholder information needs
  • Evaluate source quality, timeliness, and value to ensure intelligence meets stakeholder needs

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of related experience across cyber threat intelligence, security data platforms, or intelligence infrastructure, including experience leading projects or functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated understanding of how AI and automated systems consume structured data, and the ability to organize threat intelligence so it is usable by both analysts and AI-driven tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of CTI workflows, collection management, and intelligence requirements
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and adaptability
  • Firm understanding of the cyber threat landscape
  • Experience administering a threat intelligence platform, ideally Anomali ThreatStream
  • Experience structuring threat intelligence data, designing schemas, and building API-based integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to own a technical function independently and drive standards across stakeholders

Preferred

  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, and other structured intelligence frameworks
  • Experience integrating threat intelligence with detection engineering, SOC, or vulnerability management workflows
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$129,300 - $177,800 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
