A Remote Cyber Security Social Engineering specialist is an information security professional who works remotely to identify, analyze, and mitigate human-based security threats. Their main focus is testing and improving an organization’s defenses against tactics like phishing, pretexting, and other forms of manipulation that trick individuals into revealing confidential information. They often simulate social engineering attacks, conduct training sessions, and help develop policies to reduce risk. This role is crucial in strengthening the human element of cyber security, which is often the most vulnerable point in any organization.

To thrive as a Remote Cyber Security Social Engineering Specialist, you need a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and human behavior, often supported by a degree in information security and relevant certifications such as CEH or CISSP.
