Family Behavioral Guidance Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in providing remote mental health support. As an LMFT, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks aimed at fostering therapeutic relationships and promoting mental well-being among clients. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Providing culturally sensitive psychotherapy services to clients in both English and Spanish.
• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to address various mental health concerns.
• Leading individual and group therapy sessions that encourage self-exploration and skill-building among clients.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging in peer consultation to enhance therapeutic approaches and professional development.

Your work at Family Behavioral Guidance Services will focus on a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in good standing.
• Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills with the ability to provide bilingual services (Spanish and English).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, working with individuals and families.
• Respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and awareness of individual family needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
• A valid Driver's License and car insurance for potential travel to clients if needed.

In addition to the qualifications mentioned, we also value certain preferred experiences that may enhance your fit for this role:

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.
• Experience as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
• Previous training in short-term therapy models and solid engagement in professional development.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
