The Commercial Lines Account Manager will have the opportunity to provide exceptional service to commercial insurance clients while supporting Producers in the placement of new and renewal business. This role includes preparing applications, marketing accounts, issuing documentation, and coordinating with carriers to ensureaccurateandtimelydelivery of coverage. Responsibilities also include resolving policy and coverage concerns,maintainingclient files, and staying current on industry trends to deliver informed guidance and solutions.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Assists Producers in the placement of new and renewal business.

  • Prepare and send Future ACORD applications tomarket. forRenewal indications, per AM/Producer instructions.

  • Issueappropriate documentation, as needed including certificates of insurance, auto insurance ID cards, etc.

  • Compose orassistin composition of highly technical or sensitive correspondence.

  • Ability to translate highly technical information for the client's understanding.

  • Compile applications,negotiatewith underwriters and prepareproposals for new and renewal business proposals/offerings.

  • Resolve policy and coverage related concerns for clients, insurance carriers, and Producers.

  • Ability to communicate negative actions to the client, while offering a solution to remedy the situation.

  • Bindor place coverage with acceptable carriers adhering to appropriatecarriersbinding authority.

  • Set up andmaintainelectronic file information in the Agency Management System including data entry and client & policy database maintenance.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current Washington State Insurance License andappropriate Non-ResidentLicenses.

  • Professional designation (ACSR, CIC, CPCU, CISR) (Preferred).

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3-5years of recent agency experience handling the service of multi-line commercial lines book of business.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).

  • Working knowledge of carrier websites (Preferred).

  • Experience with AMS360 and Image Right(Preferred).

  • This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.Ifappropriate, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time ofhireand periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages will be a requirement of this position.

Pay Range

$36.06 - $43.27 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
