Location: Primarily remote, with 1-2 days per week at our downtown Austin, TX office.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) has an immediate opening for a friendly, professional and motivated Member Services Administrator. This is an opportunity to join a growing and talented team providing exceptional customer service to our global membership base. In this position, the Member Service Representative will have direct contact with members, providing membership benefit information, certification requirements, process orders, perform data entry, and troubleshoot technical issues pertaining to ACFE products.


This is an entry-level position with strong potential for advancement within the organization. The right candidate will have proven customer service, time management, written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provides extensive telephone and chat support with detailed membership, product, and event information.
  2. Review, update, compile and verify data including transfer from paper to database.
  3. Provide accurate, valid, and complete information utilizing operating procedures and other tools.
  4. Good time management; able to meet deadlines.
  5. Responds to all inquiries in a timely and cooperative manner. Build sustainable relationships through professional, open communication.
  6. Follows established processes; accurately documents and processes all orders and customer requests.
  7. Conducts outbound calls to existing and potential ACFE Members.
  8. Performs other duties as requested or required.

Required:

  1. Four years of High School resulting in a diploma or GED required; BA/BS a plus.
  2. 1+ year(s) of call center experience preferred.
  3. Strong customer service skills.
  4. Skilled in working collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills; clearly and effectively communicate information.
  6. Effective in presenting information and responding to questions and/or customer requests.
  7. Skills in defining customer needs, collecting and analyzing data.
  8. Proven skills in organizing work, communicating effectively, attending to detail, taking direction, managing time effectively, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Knowledge in Crystal Reports and database programs such as NetForum and SalesForce a plus.
  10. Bilingual a plus.
