Professionals in this role ensure that products comply with international trade regulations, help determine applicable duties and taxes, and facilitate smooth cross-border shipments. They often analyze product descriptions, technical documents, and trade laws to make accurate classifications, which is crucial for customs clearance and avoiding legal issues. These jobs typically require strong attention to detail, knowledge of customs regulations, and experience with classification software.
