Job description

We are looking for a Vice President of Revenue who shares that commitment and can translate it into sustainable growth, exceptional customer experiences, and a strong future for our business.

Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Revenue will lead our Sales and Customer Success organizations. This leader will have responsibility for the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition and relationship development through retention and growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy that supports Demco’s growth and profitability goals.
  • Lead Sales and Customer Success, creating a connected, customer-focused organization with clear priorities and accountability.
  • Own revenue forecasting, pipeline performance, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Use customer, market, and performance insights to identify opportunities and improve results.
  • Ensure customers receive a consistent, differentiated experience throughout their relationship with Demco.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams and strong leaders through coaching, training, and revenue enablement.
  • Establish effective processes, metrics, tools, and operating rhythms across the revenue organization.
  • Inspire continuous improvement and lead teams successfully through organizational, process, and system changes.
  • Partner closely with Product and Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other leaders to align customer needs, market opportunities, profitability, and execution.
  • Contribute to Demco’s overall strategy, culture, and performance as an active member of the executive leadership team.

What you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree; an MBA is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience leading a large Sales team with both field and inside sales representatives. 
  • Candidates with additional experience also leading Customer Success teams and/or teams in the K-12 market are preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue analytics.
  • A proven ability to develop leaders, build high-performing teams, and guide organizations through change.
  • Experience leading sales within learning environments, education furniture, or a related K–12 education market is strongly preferred.
  • Executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust and influence across an organization.
  • A leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability, collaboration, and sound judgment.
  • The ability to balance long-term strategy with focused, disciplined execution.
