Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 3 to assist with managing a large food and nutrition program at the Mukilteo School District located in Everett, WA (30 miles North of Seattle). The Mukilteo School district is a long tenured Sodexo account and is a premier school district with 20 schools and over 15,000 students. The selected candidate will work with our food service director to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures. He or she will oversee day-to-day food service operations and food production within the district's primary schools. What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring high-quality food, exceptional customer service, and operational efficiency.
  • Train, coach, and develop frontline staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, administrators, and vendors.
  • Manage ordering, purchasing, and inventory controls to maintain product availability and cost efficiency.
  • Support menu development with nutritious, appealing, and cost-effective offerings.
  • Coordinate catering services and special events, ensuring timely execution and quality presentation.
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and purchasing to support operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, NSLP/USDA regulations, and all applicable food service guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
