Job description

Serán is seeking a Proposal Manager who will be responsible for overseeing business development proposal processes and ensuring the high-quality standards of Serán's proposals are met. The Proposals Manager will be instrumental in the drafting of client proposals for new business and support the project management and technical leadership with the generation. As part of the Business Development team, will participate in client calls to define client needs and ensure the proposals generated are thorough and accurate.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages the proposal pipeline and process for all new customers and projects.
  • Working with the project management, technical, and business teams, generates and prices proposals for existing project proposals.
  • Responsible for translating customer needs into project scope, timelines, costs and pricing by coordinating and working with internal business, technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensures the accuracy, quality and consistency of proposals are aligned with customer needs.
  • Partners with Business Development team to provide technical expertise in customer discussions regarding new business.
  • Works with project management and scheduling teams to ensure that client timelines are achievable.
  • Works with the business and technical leadership to continuously improve proposal quality.
  • Supports field BD as a consultant to help customers select the best possible services for their needs.
  • Supports Sales and PM in winning new business.
  • Responsible for maintaining up to date proposal template and boilerplate language.
  • Contributes to the maintaining of costing templates.
  • Supports the business development team coordination of cross-functional compilation of answers to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Oversees workflow of Proposals and Business Development teams

Education & Experience
