As a Benefit Advocate, you'll be a trusted resource for clients and their employees, helping them navigate benefit programs, resolve complex issues, and make informed decisions about their coverage. Your support directly impacts employee satisfaction, engagement, and confidence in their benefits experience.
In this role, you'll partner closely with Benefit Consultants, account management teams, carriers, and vendor partners to deliver exceptional service across a portfolio of employee benefits clients. You'll play an important role in ensuring smooth benefits administration, supporting open enrollment activities, and helping clients and employees receive timely, accurate assistance when they need it most.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, delivering responsive and professional support that enhances the employee experience.
  • Resolve claims issues, appeals, prior authorization requests, and coverage concerns by coordinating with carriers, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Process enrollments, terminations, qualifying life events, and eligibility changes while ensuring accuracy across agency and carrier systems.
  • Support compliance and communication initiatives by assisting with required notices, employee communications, and open enrollment activities.
  • Prepare stewardship reports and client materials that provide meaningful insights into service trends and employee needs.
  • Collaborate with internal service teams to deliver a seamless client experience and strengthen long-term client relationships.

  • 2+ years of experience in employee benefits insurance, benefits administration, Human Resources, or a related client service role.
  • Georgia Life & Health insurance license or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits plans, insurance products, eligibility requirements, enrollment processes, and applicable regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide professional and empathetic support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, carrier partners, vendors, and internal teams.
Valuable Additions:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting open enrollment processes, invoice reconciliation, eligibility audits, or employee communications.
