Position Overview

Sunrise Behavioral Health PC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. This role primarily focuses on providing high-quality, individualized support to children experiencing delays or disabilities, while actively participating in their development through Early Intervention services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify children's developmental needs and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring collaborative input from families and other team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes of implemented interventions, adjusting strategies based on the effectiveness of the care provided.
  • Build meaningful rapport with children and families, fostering trust and communication to promote optimal learning environments.
  • Provide ongoing family support, offering information and strategies utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate child development.
  • Utilize coaching models and Natural Learning Environment Practices to support families in enhancing their child’s developmental milestones.
  • Comply with all relevant Federal and State regulations regarding social work practices and ensure adherence to health and safety standards for all clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily targets infants and toddlers aged 0-3 years, including those with disabilities or delays in areas such as cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and communication skills. As an LCSW, you will be directly involved in children's early intervention strategies, directly contributing to improved quality of life for these young individuals and their families.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW or DSW).
  • Current LCSW licensure recognized by the Department of Public Health.
  • Valid driver's license to facilitate visits and community engagement.
  • Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills to accommodate various learning styles in children.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Respectful, collaborative attitude towards team members, families, and clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year experience working in early intervention services or with children having developmental delays.
  • Experience or familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices is highly desirable.
