Education Partnerships Division - AAPC
Position Summary
AAPC is expanding its Education Partnerships team and looking to add a new Business Development Representative who is hungry to build pipeline, work a full desk, and close new business. You will focus on outbound sales, daily prospecting, and converting cold and warm leads into long-term higher education and workforce training partnerships.
Our addressable market is over 90 percent untapped. This role is perfect for someone who wants to hunt, dial, and grow into a high-earning B2B sales career.
What You Will Do:
Outbound Pipeline Generation

  • Make high-volume outbound calls daily to colleges, universities, technical schools, workforce boards, and training centers.
  • Call through marketplace leads and unassigned accounts to uncover new revenue.
  • Work lead lists, referral lists, and cold lists to identify fresh opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects quickly and move them into actionable sales cycles.
Inbound Lead Conversion
  • Respond to inbound marketing leads, web inquiries, and call-in leads with urgency.
  • Run structured discovery to understand program needs, funding options, and partnership goals.
  • Convert warm leads into meetings, proposals, and closed revenue.
Running a Full Desk
  • Own the full sales cycle for new partnerships.
  • Renew and expand existing partners as you grow your book of business.
  • Present AAPC curriculum licensing, job-ready programs, LMS solutions, and full partnership models.
Collaboration and Team Enablement
  • Work alongside two senior B2B reps, three peers, an SDR, and a marketing team who will support your development.
  • Leverage subject matter experts, delivery teams, and leadership for proposals, pricing, and implementation.
  • Partner with marketing to improve lead flow and targeting.
Targets and Metrics
  • Consistently hit weekly activity goals, including dials, talk time, and new opportunities created.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline hygiene and forecasting.
  • Contribute to monthly revenue targets through new partnerships and renewals.
What You Bring
  • One to three years of outbound sales experience. B2B experience preferred.
  • Not afraid of the phone. You enjoy dialing and talking to people.
  • A competitive, hunter mindset.
  • Creative and critical thinker.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to run a complete sales conversation.
  • Organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Desire to grow into a full-cycle Account Executive or Senior Manager role.
