• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to formulate comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.
• Engage in curriculum-based group therapy sessions, focusing on topics pertinent to mental health and wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic client care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health research and therapies.

You will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our focus is on helping those with limited access to traditional mental health resources, ensuring that each client receives the attention and care they deserve.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in clinical or therapeutic contexts.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with clients from various backgrounds, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal considerations applicable to counseling practice in New Jersey.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring efficient management of client documentation.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working within a collaborative healthcare setting, illustrating an ability to work cohesively with other professionals.
