McGowan Mortgages - a top-producing branch of NEXA Mortgage LLC - is hiring a remote Application Specialist to join our high-energy front-end sales support team. We work with 300+ wholesale lenders to find the best rates and programs for every borrower, and our Application Specialists are the first point of contact who make that happen.
What You'll Do:
  • Be the first voice a new lead hears - respond to inbound leads within 60 seconds via phone, text, and email
  • Qualify borrowers and begin the pre-approval process by collecting financial documents and running initial scenarios
  • Provide exceptional customer service - you're setting the tone for the entire client experience

Responsibilities
• Respond to new inbound leads within 60 seconds via phone, text, and email
• Manage a high-volume pipeline of leads from Zillow, Realtor.com, social media, and referrals
• Enter loan applications into ARIVE (Loan Origination System) with accuracy
• Coordinate handoffs to Loan Officer Assistants and Processors for qualified files
• Track all client interactions in CRM and Monday.com pipeline boards
• Follow up with prospects to drive application completions
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage lending, real estate, banking, or high-volume sales/intake
• Strong phone presence and excellent written communication skills
• Comfortable with technology: CRM systems, LOS platforms, and multi-tab workflows
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
