• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat to enhance their mental health.
• Facilitate conversations that encourage clients to articulate their emotions and experiences, helping them cultivate self-awareness and insight into their relationships.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients, aiding them in defining personal goals and empowering them towards achieving these objectives.
• Perform thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions to develop and implement effective, solution-focused treatment plans based on your clinical expertise.

Your clients will be prescreened, stable individuals with low acuity needs. This focused demographic allows for an environment where you can work towards manageable therapeutic goals and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships. By understanding their unique situations, you will help them progress within their mental health journeys, guided by the principles of empathy and active listening.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
• Active independent licensing within the state of California as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted for this position.
• Strong aptitude for making professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with an empathetic attitude to foster client trust and rapport.
• High computer literacy to effectively utilize our therapist portal and telehealth tools.

Experience with diverse populations or specialty areas is beneficial, as we strive to match you with clients who align with your skills and expertise. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology is advantageous to ensure smooth client interactions and adaptations to remote care.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, determined by your caseload and experience level. In addition to monetary compensation, we provide the following benefits:
