Our Mental Health Counselors work in a fully remote setting, giving you the flexibility to create a schedule that suits your life outside of work. You will conduct teletherapy sessions using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms that facilitate communication and rapport-building with clients. The remote environment also allows for a personalized workspace, enabling you to create your ideal therapeutic setting.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to ascertain clients' mental health needs and diagnose conditions accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals, using evidence-based practices tailored to diverse client backgrounds.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to adult clients by utilizing solution-focused approaches and various therapeutic modalities.
• Engage in teletherapy sessions to expand your practice's reach and maintain consistent communication with clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring clients receive immediate support during challenging times.
• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and remain current with evolving mental health best practices.

Our client population consists of adults who are navigating various mental health challenges—ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. Each counselor has the opportunity to work with a caseload they feel best suited for, ensuring a meaningful and effective therapeutic relationship that fosters long-term recovery and personal development.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/MHSP), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients is necessary.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills will help you manage your schedule and client needs effectively.

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will give candidates a competitive edge. Previous work in a community health setting may also be beneficial, as it equips counselors to work within diverse populations and settings.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, based on your caseload and experience. Additionally, Carewell provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
