Our team operates primarily during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts assigned according to patient needs. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the diverse challenges faced by children and adolescents.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies, tailored to each child's needs and family dynamics.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address various disorders, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
• Offer family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to enhance their support systems at home.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and a wider team of health professionals to ensure all aspects of a patient's care are addressed collectively.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies for young individuals.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health, treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and collaboration.
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Actively engage in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, addressing a range of mental health concerns that affect their daily lives and overall development. Through your work, you will positively influence the emotional and behavioral health of this vulnerable population, contributing to their growth and resilience.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.
• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual therapy and family therapy to children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and child-centered approach in all interactions.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, demonstrating the ability to document and manage client care electronically.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering a supportive environment for both clients and colleagues.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, particularly working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed practices is highly desirable.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methodologies is preferred.
