Abrigo is looking fora Product Builder, UXto help shape the next generation of AI-powered product experiences across our platform. ThisUX-led rolewill turn customer problems, business opportunities, and emerging AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy, and scalable experiences.In collaboration withProduct, Engineering, andgo-to-market teams, this role will identify opportunities, design and prototype solutions, validate concepts with users, and contribute to the development of AI - enabled experiences.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on UX/product designer with experience simplifying complex enterprise workflows. They combine strong UX craft, product judgment, frontend fluency, and AI-enabled development tools to move quickly from ambiguous problems to prototypes, validated concepts, and select build contributions.This role will report to the Director of UX and may belocatedat our office in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote.

WhatYou'llDo:

  • Design user-centered AI experiences across Abrigo products, with a focus on agenticworkflowswhereAIassists, recommends, automates, ortakes actionwithappropriate transparencyand user control.
  • Owndesign-to-build executionfor selectproductfeatures,combining UXexpertise,frontenddevelopmentskills, and AI-enabled development tools.
  • Contribute toadjacent,high-impactproduct initiatives where complex customer workflows, business value, and market differentiation require thoughtful, scalable product experiences.
  • Create prototypes, wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interaction designs that clearly communicate product direction.
  • Support user research, usability testing, and iterative validation across product experiences to ensure designs meet user needs,business goals, andtechnicalconstraints.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shapefeasible, scalable experiences and contribute to reusable frontend components, design-system patterns, and implementation guidelines.
  • Use AI tools and modern design workflows to improve UX team velocity, design quality, and output.
  • Helpestablishreusable UX patterns and best practices that improve consistency, usability, trust, and efficiency across the product suite.
  • Occasional travelrequiredtoteamevents to support engagement, relationship-building, and key decision-making.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX, product design, product building, or related roles.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, compliance, lending, fraud, risk, or complex enterprise software.
  • Strong portfolio showing UX craft across user flows, interaction design, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, usability testing, and workflow simplification.
  • Experience designing AI-powered, automation-driven, data-rich, or decision-support experiences.
  • Strong understanding of trust, transparency, user control, explainability, and responsible AI in product experiences.
  • Ability to quickly turn ambiguous problems into clear concepts, prototypes, validated solutions, and production-ready product direction.
  • Experience prototyping or building beyond static design using AI-enabled development tools.
  • Strong systems thinking and design judgment, with experience creating reusable patterns across a product suite.
  • Curiosity and fluency with modern AI tools, AI-assisted coding tools, design workflows, and emerging product development practices.

Preferredqualifications:

  • Experience contributing to production frontend code, especially in React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Design-system engineering experience, including reusable frontend components, patterns, or implementation guidelines.
  • Deeper experience in fintech, compliance, lending, fraud, risk, financial services, or another regulated industry.
