The Enterprise Strategy Analyst provides analytical, coordination, and communication support across the enterprise strategy lifecycle. The role contributes to strategy execution and governance through research, structured analysis, KPI and scorecard maintenance, and enterprise-level communications.

Working closely with senior consultants, strategy leads, and cross-functional partners, the Enterprise Strategy Analyst contributes to strategy materials, performance reporting, and related discussions by organizing information, identifying relevant themes, and translating priorities into clear outputs and follow-through.

What you’ll be doing:

Research & Insights

  • Conduct research, environmental scans, and issue analysis to support enterprise and functional strategy development
  • Gather, synthesize, and summarize internal and external data into clear findings and briefing materials
  • Contribute to market scanning and related analysis activities by compiling inputs, identifying patterns, and summarizing findings

Strategy Execution & Performance Support

  • Support enterprise KPI updates, scorecard maintenance, and benefits tracking
  • Contribute to performance reporting and trend analysis by reviewing data, highlighting notable changes, and preparing clear summaries for discussion
  • Maintain clear linkages among strategy objectives, initiatives, measures, and reporting requirements

Governance & Coordination

  • Coordinate preparation, documentation, and follow-up for workshops, governance forums, and enterprise planning cycles
  • Coordinate inputs from cross functional partners to support enterprise reviews and updates
  • Manage records, templates, and artifacts related to enterprise strategy and performance management

Strategic Communications

  • Draft and prepare strategy decks, executive summaries, dashboards, and communications materials
  • Develop and update corporate strategy documents and enterprise scorecards
  • Organize complex strategic information into clear, structured, and audience-appropriate content

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the refinement of strategy processes, tools, and templates
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and insight clarity
  • Contribute to consistent enterprise planning and reporting practices

What you bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in strategy, analytics, planning, or related role
  • Experience preparing executive-level materials or contributing to enterprise initiatives is an asset
  • Familiarity with KPIs, scorecards, or performance reporting frameworks preferred

Any other special requirements necessary to do the job: 

  • Remote first
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet business needs, support special projects or contribute to crisis or issues management. Travel within Alberta, and occasional in-office attendance in Edmonton or Calgary, may be required.
