Vision in Mind Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide essential mental health services within a supportive, remote school environment. Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to provide services from a home office environment. The position is rooted in collaboration with local schools, allowing you to directly impact studentsโ€™ lives while working in conjunction with teachers and school counselors to create conducive learning environments. You will engage in teletherapy and utilize various online platforms for therapy sessions and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapy and other mental health interventions to students facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic services using standardized psychological evaluations and assessments to determine client needs.
  • Design personalized treatment plans that align with students' individual goals, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver immediate crisis intervention services, including suicide risk assessments, and facilitate appropriate referrals to emergency services when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to coordinate a multidisciplinary approach to student care.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate record-keeping of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, complying with state and federal regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical policies and procedures within the organization to enhance service delivery.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending training workshops, conferences, and staff meetings, fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of students ranging from elementary to high school levels. You will provide support for various mental health issues while respecting and addressing their unique cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds to facilitate better outcomes and healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a valid LCSW license to practice in Kansas is required.
