Our outpatient office facilitates a collaborative remote work environment where therapists have the flexibility to manage their schedules while maintaining quality care for their clients. You will have access to ongoing support and resources, including a Continuing Education Library, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of clinical best practices.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain a full-time caseload of at least 27 client visits weekly, ensuring timely documentation and clinical notes as per organizational protocols.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers, medical personnel, and educational staff, to create a cohesive care strategy that meets the holistic needs of clients.
• Utilize innovative and creative approaches in therapy sessions tailored to the unique challenges faced by children, adolescents, and families.
• Document clinical sessions meticulously, adhering to organizational guidelines while ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of client information.
• Participate actively in clinical meetings and training sessions to foster teamwork and enhance service delivery.
• Contribute to a vibrant team culture that encourages sharing ideas and supporting colleagues’ professional growth.

As a LMFT, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and families facing a range of mental health issues. • A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Active LMFT licensure in Virginia is essential for this role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
• Proven ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients while fostering a therapeutic relationship.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is considered an asset.
• Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with a background in team dynamics, integration of creative therapy techniques, and those who embody a strong alignment with our organizational values. Experience working with specific populations such as children or trauma survivors will also be considered favorably.
