Work Arrangement

Hybrid: The role can be performed hybrid (2x/week) in one of our offices: New York City, San Francisco, Boston, or Salt Lake City

Remote: This role is open to remote  candidates located in AL, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OR, TX, UT, VA, or WA. We're unable to consider candidates residing outside of these states at this time.

If you live within 50 miles of one of our hub offices, in Salt Lake City, New York City, San Francisco, or Boston, this role will be hybrid, requiring in-office presence 2 days per week.

The Opportunity 

The Specialist, Social & Influencer manages tactical execution and emerging strategic initiatives for social media and influencer marketing programs across B2B technology clients. This role bridges execution and strategy, taking ownership of content development, influencer relationship management, campaign optimization, and performance analysis with moderate oversight. The Specialist demonstrates growing expertise in social strategy, audience development, and creator partnerships while supporting Managers and Senior Managers on complex client accounts. This position requires proactive problem-solving and the ability to operate independently on day-to-day program management.

Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Manage assigned accounts with moderate oversight, serving as day-to-day client contact
  • Lead client communication on routine matters and escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Develop and maintain content calendars, editorial schedules, and influencer partnership timelines
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client programs and grow social presence
  • Support Managers with project scoping, budget tracking, and resource planning
  • Train and guide Coordinators on best practices and client-specific requirements
  • Ensure accurate time tracking and project documentation

Social Media & Influencer Management

  • Create high-quality social media content strategies aligned with client goals and brand voice
  • Write engaging copy across all platforms with minimal edits required
  • Analyze social media and influencer performance data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
  • Conduct competitive analysis and social listening to inform strategic recommendations
  • Identify, vet, and negotiate with influencers and content creators for partnership opportunities
  • Assist in influencer campaigns including brief development, content reviews, and performance measurement
  • Ensure all influencer content meets FTC compliance standards and brand guidelines
  • Plan and execute paid social campaigns including audience targeting, budget allocation, and creative testing
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports with insights and actionable recommendations
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes, new features, and emerging social trends
  • Support Method's owned social channels

Business Development

  • Contribute to new business pitches with social and influencer research and strategy development
  • Provide thought leadership on social and influencer trends during internal strategy sessions
  • Help develop case studies and results summaries to showcase program success

Agency Leadership

  • Mentor Coordinators and GAs on social media best practices and influencer marketing fundamentals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, content, and creative teams
  • Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and training initiatives
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise within the agency

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably in an agency environment
  • Proven ability to create and execute effective social media strategies that drive engagement and business results
  • Experience with social media management platforms and analytics tools
  • Hands-on experience planning and managing influencer partnerships from identification through campaign completion
  • Understanding of paid social media campaigns 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Understanding of B2B technology marketing and enterprise sales cycles preferred
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work across teams and mentor junior staff
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative

Salary Ranges

We believe all employees should be rewarded competitively and equitably, using practices that are simple and transparent. Final compensation for this role will be determined by a number of factors including candidate's education, relevant work experience and geographic location. 

  • $60,000 - $75,000
