Job description

Pacific or Central Time (San Francisco, Austin, or Remote)
Mid May - August 1 (with possibility to extend)
Ten years ago Navan started as a radical disruptor in a boring and complacent industry. Now, we're a major player in corporate travel and expense, leading the category with truly impressive proprietary tech. On the backbone of the best product in the market, we're building a world class brand. Our mission is to make travel easy for every frequent traveler.
Our lean creative team punches above its weight. You'll join a group of writers, designers and marketers to build Navan's visual identity and execute across our marketing channels. We'll look to you to create stunning visual graphics through all stages of the customer journey, supporting brand, social, demand gen, lifecycle, internal projects, and more. You'll flex from everyday work to high-visibility, high-impact projects.
Your portfolio should showcase creative ideation and execution of stellar designs. We're looking for someone who can take initiative, be scrappy when needed, and is excited to push this brand forward. You should be able to understand the brand and bring it to life for different audiences.
Join us! The company is growing, we have momentum in the market, and we have a ton of energetic folks making it happen every day.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop the Navan brand and maintain a cohesive visual identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints
  • Design and produce high-quality marketing materials, including digital assets, print collateral, social media graphics, and presentation decks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall business goals
  • Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our brand design
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations

What We're Looking For
  • A robust portfolio showcasing design and creative excellence
  • 5+ years of experience in brand design
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google products
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale
  • A creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Animation skills are a plus
