We are seeking a compassionate and driven Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team at Senua Counseling Clinic. This full-time, remote role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals, couples, and families needing mental health support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong clinical background, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for a diverse client base.

About the Organization

Senua Counseling Clinic is a community-focused health clinic located in Gresham, Oregon, dedicated to enhancing mental health and wellness among our clients. Our mission is to fill the gaps in care by providing accessible, high-quality mental health services. We pride ourselves on our innovative and collaborative approach to treatment and support, creating a welcoming atmosphere where every employee is valued and each client feels heard.

Work Environment

As an employee of Senua Counseling Clinic, you will work in a flexible remote setting, allowing you to balance your professional and personal needs effectively. Our team operates with a commitment to integrity, collaboration, and the importance of humor in fostering a positive work culture. You will be supported by a collaborative staff that includes Licensed Therapists and clinic directors who prioritize ethical practices and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting intake assessments including biopsychosocial evaluations, establishing medical necessity for services, and formulating initial treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s needs.
  • Documenting clinical progress and treatment outcomes through timely completion of assessments, diagnosis re-assessments, progress notes, and treatment plan reviews in line with company policies.
  • Providing exceptional therapeutic services utilizing innovative therapy tools and creative intervention strategies to empower clients in reaching their goals.
  • Upholding confidentiality and accurate record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring clientsโ€™ privacy is always maintained.
  • Coordinating referrals and collaborating with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Participating in clinical and administrative meetings, training sessions, and individual supervision aimed at enhancing your professional development and maintaining licensure.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse outpatient population that comprises individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. This role requires a deep understanding and sensitivity towards the unique backgrounds and needs of clients, showcasing compassion and resilience in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in a behavioral health science from an accredited institution is mandatory for this position.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to Oregon is essential.
  • Experience in conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining clinical documentation.

  • Exemplary organizational skills with a commitment to timely documentation and management of caseloads.

  • A collaborative spirit, with ability to work within a team-oriented environment that values authenticity.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with a diverse client population in outpatient settings is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of different therapeutic modalities and innovative treatment approaches will be considered a plus.
  • A demonstrated passion for destigmatizing mental health issues through active community involvement.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. Senua Counseling Clinic provides the following benefits:

  • A flexible work schedule to support work-life balance.
  • W-2 employment status as a full-time employee, rather than as a contractor.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% premium coverage.

  • Clinical supervision for ongoing professional growth and support in achieving licensure.
  • Continuous training and development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and professional capabilities.
Career Growth Opportunities
