AI at BambooHR
At BambooHR, we're all about setting people free to do great work, and we believe AI is a powerful partner in that mission. We're leaning into intelligent tools to streamline our workflows, giving us more time for high-impact innovation. We look for curious, forward-thinking people who are ready to explore how AI can elevate their work and help us reimagine the future of HR.

Essential Job Duties

As a Sales Operations Manager at BambooHR, your primary focus will be on enhancing our partner motion, which includes resellers, brokers, strategic, and referral partners. You will ensure that our partner managers and sales teams are fully equipped and empowered to maximize revenue and drive profitable sales through these partnerships. Acting as a trusted operational partner to the assigned selling teams, you will concentrate on optimizing sales efficiency and effectiveness by providing strategic consultation, project management, and tactical support.

In this role, you will spearhead multiple strategic initiatives related to our partner ecosystem, collaborating with various GTM leaders across departments. You will also address tactical needs, ensuring seamless integration and support for our partner strategies. As an individual contributor, you will excel both independently and as part of a sales operations team.

You will:

  • Work within our established Sales Operations team to achieve optimal results.
  • Partner with assigned partner managers, selling teams, and sales leadership to recommend, prioritize, and manage strategic revenue-enabling initiatives.
  • Diagnose root causes of sales system inefficiencies and ineffectiveness, and then scope and deliver solutions that enable greater partnership motion.
  • Drive projects to completion within a framework that ensures quality and adoption.
  • Simplify processes through automation and implementation of new process steps and tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with teams such as Salesforce Admins, Finance, Marketing Operations, Marketing, etc.) to create a comprehensive, best-in-class operations environment.
  • Be the front-line support to partner teams by responding to various sales support tickets and requests (e.g., systems troubleshooting, report creation, deal attribution, sales administration tasks, etc.)
  • Manage sales tech stack - including implementation, support, optimization, evaluation, and vendor relationships.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

This is not a senior role within the Sales Ops team but it's also not an entry-level. Here's what you'll need to be successful in this position:

  • Sales Operations Experience: 2-4 years of direct experience in Sales Operations, including Partner Operations, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Understanding of Partner Sales: Experience with partner sales, including resellers, brokers, and referral partners.
  • Data-Driven Approach: A strong inclination to seek out and utilize data to inform decisions, rather than relying on intuition.
  • Proactive Ownership: Demonstrated ability to take independent ownership of tasks and projects, driving them to completion.
  • Results Orientation: Demonstrated focus on achieving outcomes, recognizing that daily tasks are steps toward reaching goals.
  • Communication and Influence Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and motivate change without direct authority.
  • Rigorous Prioritization Approach: Prioritizes work around true impact, with a willingness to challenge stakeholders to consider whether actions should be taken (rather than just executing orders).
  • CRM Skills: Prior experience working within Salesforce or another CRM like Hubspot.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to see complex initiatives through from start to finish while prioritizing effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Location: Utah candidates may be expected to work hybrid from our Draper, UT headquarters. Remote candidates may be considered from our list of open hiring states, which include: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia.

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

  • SaaS Experience: You have strong experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Certifications: You hold certifications in project management, Salesforce, Salesloft or Outreach, Chili Piper, LeanData, Attention, or Six Sigma. An MBA is a plus!
  • Business Acumen: You think like a businessperson, understanding the role of Sales Ops within the broader business context.
  • Flexible Tenacity: You persist through challenges and adapt your approach as needed.
  • Systems Theory Approach: You understand how different parts work together to produce results.
  • Process Engineering: You design and improve scalable and repeatable processes.
  • Organizational Dynamics Perspective: You enjoy understanding how groups adopt new behaviors and make decisions, with a keen interest in human and group behavior.

What You'll Love About Us

  • A Great Company Culture that has been recognized by multiple organizations like Inc, and Salt Lake Tribune
  • Comprehensive health, life, and disability insurance
  • Generous leave policies that include 4 weeks of vacation, 12 company holidays, parental leave, and volunteer time off so you can enjoy quality of life
  • 401k plans with up to 6% company match
  • $2000 Paid-Paid Vacation bonus
