Millennia Counseling and Treatment Centre is actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team in Brockton, Massachusetts, providing essential mental health services in a remote telehealth setting. Work Environment

Our remote work setting allows counselors to provide telehealth services, ensuring accessibility for clients across various locations. You will work under the guidance of the Assistant Director, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team which includes physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments with clients to discuss their individual goals, preferences, and available mental health support options before developing customized rehabilitation plans.
  • Craft and modify rehabilitation plans based on an individualโ€™s educational background, skills, physical capabilities, and objectives related to employment or personal success.
  • Engage in close collaboration with a network of healthcare professionals to design and implement effective rehabilitation programs tailored to each clientโ€™s unique requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive case files for record-keeping, documenting essential client information, treatment history, and progress reports.
  • Regularly monitor client progress toward their set goals and make necessary adjustments to their rehabilitation plans to enhance efficacy.
  • Establish and sustain ongoing communication with clients as they participate in job training and placements to address any challenges that may emerge.
  • Involve family members and social support networks in the care process to ensure a holistic approach to client needs and successes.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports analyzing client needs and progress to facilitate informed decision-making regarding their care.
  • Provide referrals to community resources and services when appropriate to meet additional client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. You will provide them with the tools and support needed to navigate their challenges and strive for personal improvement.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • Experience working with clients with various mental health/mood disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to fostering an environment of positive change within our community.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
