Position Overview

Liberton Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This full-time position allows you to provide therapeutic support through telehealth services, ensuring clients receive quality mental health care from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine mental health diagnoses and develop customized treatment plans according to individual client needs.
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 27 client visits per week for full-time clinicians, ensuring timely service delivery and follow-up.
  • Document clinical interactions meticulously, including assessments and treatment plan updates, to adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with case managers, educational professionals, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and support for clients.
  • Employ a variety of creative therapeutic interventions to assist clients in achieving both personal and clinical goals.
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings and training sessions to reinforce professional development and reflect on collective service outcomes.
  • Contribute positively to our team culture by sharing insights and supporting colleagues in their professional growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Liberton Counseling Services is committed to addressing the unique needs of our clients, particularly within BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and bilingual communities. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive atmosphere where individuals feel understood and valued.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • An active LMFT license in Washington State is mandatory for this position.
  • Proven experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessments and treatment planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear interaction with clients and team members.
  • The ability to manage client documentation in a timely manner is essential.
  • Familiarity and comfort in working with diverse populations and establishing stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficiency in using Office 365 and electronic health record systems is a must; experience with Valant is a plus.
  • A clean background check is required prior to employment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a telehealth environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches.
  • Experience in team collaboration and contributing to a supportive work culture.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual earning potential of USD 80,000 to 100,000. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to new hires. Benefits include:
