SUMMARY:
The Marketing Creative Assistant will report directly to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Creative Assistant supports the marketing department by producing engaging, on-trend content and assisting with event and outreach efforts that build the company's brand presence. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. In this role, the Marketing Creative Assistant is a critical brand ambassador of our employee-owned family business and as such must always exemplify the character, hospitality, work quality and work ethic of a Eureka Employee-Owner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute start-to-finish content creation for select events, including capturing photo/video, editing, and preparing content for publishing
- Search for, identify, and reach out to potential influencers and UGC (user-generated content) creators; maintain organized records of outreach efforts, responses, and partnerships
- Stay current on social media and marketing trends, and proactively bring forward ideas that keep the brand relevant and engaging
- Post day-to-day content and trending stories/reels across company social media accounts
- Assist with larger photo/video shoots and events at Eureka Casino Resort, including setup, filming, and on-site coordination
- Support the Marketing Manager with general content and administrative needs as projects require
- Ensure all content is supportive of and consistent with overall marketing strategy and brand voice
- All other duties as assigned

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and current content trends
- Comfort in front of and behind the camera; basic photo/video capture and editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar apps)
- Requires knowledge and ability to operate computers, smartphones, and general office equipment
- Must possess the ability to handle difficult guests and situations with tact, diplomacy and discretion
- Must be able to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
- Be adaptable, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
- Flexibility to work event-based and varying schedules, including some evenings and weekends as needed
