• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through interviews and standardized tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of diverse clients.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with tools and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when medication evaluation or additional interventions are necessary.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all levels of practice.

You will primarily work with adult clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addiction, and trauma-related struggles. Emphasizing a culturally responsive approach, your ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds will be essential to fostering trust and promoting positive outcomes.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in New Jersey.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• A strong understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapies.

• Demonstrated experience providing culturally informed individual and group therapy.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation effectively.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate high-pressure situations sensitively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to build rapport with a diverse client base.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
