• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the needs of your patients, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed.
• Engage in effective communication with supervisors, healthcare teams, family members, and guardians to update them on client progress.
• Prepare and manage an organized schedule for appointments, home visits, and data collection activities to monitor client advancement.
• Coordinate and perform home visits to conduct observations and gather relevant data for your clients' treatment plans.
• Oversee the implementation of treatment strategies to ensure they are executed effectively and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights and collaborative support for case discussions.
• Maintain accurate monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client journeys and effectiveness of intervention strategies.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for staff to ensure competency in program implementation and documentation procedures.
• Facilitate follow-up interviews and visits to offer continued support to clients and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Serve as a liaison within the public and mental health community, providing guidance and support on developmental goals for mental health services.

As an LPC at Mind Crafts Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise in areas such as family therapy, trauma recovery, and substance misuse will be essential in providing comprehensive care. This role requires empathy, cultural competency, and a commitment to improving the lives of those you serve, creating impactful and lasting change.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and effectively collaborate with clients and professionals.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve patient-centered goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.

• Specialization in therapeutic areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling preferred.
• Experience in a collaborative outpatient mental health setting is highly advantageous.
