The role allows for complete teletherapy services, enabling counselors to connect with clients conveniently from their own spaces.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health status, needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and aligned with clients' individual goals.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using effective, solution-focused approaches that empower clients.
• Utilize teletherapy practices to provide virtual therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients in various settings.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, demonstrating promptness and care for urgent mental health situations.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to remain current with best practices and industry standards, further enhancing therapeutic skills.

Our client base consists of diverse adults facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Counselors will be encouraged to develop their therapeutic niches and specialties, fostering an environment where they can truly thrive while making impactful changes in their clients’ lives.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong organizational abilities, time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining a productive caseload.

Experience in outpatient settings or telehealth capabilities is preferred but not mandatory. We value ingenuity and encourage counselors to bring unique perspectives and therapeutic modalities to the practice. Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and populations can greatly enhance the counselor's effectiveness within our clinic.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 annually, based on caseload and experience. In addition, Carewell provides an inclusive benefits package which features:
