This role is entirely remote, enabling you to work from Miami, Florida, or anywhere else you prefer within the state. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and emotional well-being, utilizing standardized tools and individualized interviews.
• Develop and implement unique treatment plans aligned with each client's therapeutic goals, ensuring suitability and adaptability based on their progress.
• Provide diverse therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family counseling.
• Regularly monitor clients' progress and modify treatment approaches as needed, documenting changes in the treatment plan and outcomes accurately.
• Offer timely crisis intervention and support, utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing clients with immediate resources when necessary.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines while collaborating with team members.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and nurse practitioners to ensure holistic care for each client.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and evidence in mental health treatment through continuous education and professional development.
• Participate in supervision and training sessions that enhance your clinical skills and foster personal growth within the practice.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and professional guidelines mandated by relevant licensing boards and organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is mandatory (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW).
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills obtained through academic training and hands-on experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to client welfare are essential characteristics for success in this role.
• Ability to work autonomously, with initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team context.
• Sound knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal standards governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role is strongly preferred.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices is a plus.
