Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients' mental health conditions through comprehensive evaluations conducted via virtual sessions, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions that address various issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders, adapting approaches to fit each client's unique experiences.
• Conduct regular follow-up sessions with clients, providing ongoing support and tools to empower them in their journey toward recovery and personal growth.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to refer clients for additional services, ensuring holistic care that meets all aspects of their mental health needs.
• Document patient progress and therapy outcomes meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will involve working with a diverse range of clients who come from various cultural backgrounds and life experiences. You will engage with individuals facing issues such as chronic stress, addiction, and mood disorders, requiring cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach to foster trust and rapport.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar credential in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in delivering mental health services in varied settings.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapies, and cultural competency practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build meaningful connections with clients, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to enrich the therapeutic experience for a broad spectrum of clients.
• Proven ability to manage crisis situations effectively, with the capacity to remain composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology applications related to mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits
