These roles can include positions in sales, marketing, supply chain management, e-commerce, and data analysis, among others. Employees in remote CPG jobs use digital tools to collaborate with teams, manage product distribution, analyze consumer trends, and develop marketing strategies. However, many organizations provide robust digital resources and regular virtual check-ins to support seamless coordination and professional development.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote CPG position?

Excellent communication, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities help remote professionals collaborate effectively and drive business growth. These skills are essential to manage accounts, streamline operations, and maintain strong client and internal team relationships from a remote setting.

Job description

About the role and team

Uber Advertising is rewriting the playbook for how brands connect with consumers in the physical world. As a Senior Client Partner for our CPG's, you will be a founding member of a high-stakes division, tasked with building ads partnerships from the ground up with the world's largest CPG's brands. This isn't a role for those who want a polished roadmap; it's for builders who are energized by the messiness of creating a new business within a global giant.

The pace is relentless and the ambiguity is high, but the impact is tangible. You will navigate complex internal and external landscapes, turning "no" into "how" and "impossible" into "delivered." We are looking for a strategic seller who possesses the grit to pursue long-term partnerships and the adaptability to pivot as our product suite evolves. If you thrive on ownership and are ready to carry the weight of high-pressure decisions that shape the future of Uber's advertising business, you will find your place here.

What you'll do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by deeply understanding what matters most to our CPG's customers, moving beyond transactional sales to create mutual value.
  • Navigate the internal complexity and shifting priorities of a newly formed division to unlock growth opportunities across both our Mobility and Delivery platforms.
  • Manage high-value pipelines with discipline and persistence, recognizing that securing trust with C-level marketing executives often requires months of creative problem-solving.
  • Adapt your sales strategy based on imperfect information and evolving market dynamics, as there is no pre-existing playbook for our unique advertising offering.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations to resolve blockers, influence product roadmaps, and deliver bespoke solutions at scale.
  • Communicate with clarity and negotiate confidently through tough partner conversations, ensuring Uber's value proposition is differentiated in a competitive digital landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years Professional Experience
  • Proven track record of selling complex advertising solutions to large-scale enterprise brands and organizations.
  • Experience in prospecting and winning net-new partnerships within the CPG sectors.
  • Strong educational background or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full-time experience in end-to-end Enterprise or Large Customer Digital Advertising Sales.
  • Advanced skills in value creation and capture, with the ability to craft creative deal terms in challenging negotiations.
  • Expert-level storytelling ability, using data to quantify opportunities and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.
  • Strong leadership mindset with a history of raising the bar for team performance and accountability.
  • Systems-thinking approach to managing a large portfolio of accounts and identifying market trends before they occur.

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.
