Sr. Industry Manager

Location: Canada remote

As an Industry Manager, you will act as a market maker, strategist, and growth catalyst—shaping industry vision, identifying near and emerging opportunities, amplifying customer outcomes, and influencing the solutions, investments, and partnerships that define Hitachi Solutions' role in the market and drive immediate and long-term growth.

Role Summary

The Sr. Industry Manager is responsible for driving industry-led growth by translating market challenges into business opportunities enabled through Microsoft Business Applications, Data, AI, and Cloud solutions.

As a strategic industry leader, the Sr. Industry Manager serves as a bridge between customers, Microsoft, and Hitachi Solutions, helping shape market strategy, accelerate commercial opportunities, influence customer transformation agendas, and enable the broader organization to deliver differentiated industry value.

This role combines deep industry expertise, executive engagement, thought leadership, and business acumen to help customers achieve meaningful business outcomes while strengthening Hitachi Solutions' position as a trusted advisor and industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

Industry Strategy & Growth

  • Identify emerging industry trends, challenges, regulatory shifts, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate industry challenges into scalable solutions, sales plays, offerings, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Shape industry-specific growth strategies aligned to Microsoft Business Applications, Data, AI, and Cloud priorities.
  • Influence innovation and investment priorities based on market needs and customer demand.

Executive Engagement & Transformation

  • Engage senior business and technology executives to understand strategic priorities and transformation objectives.
  • Facilitate business and technology discussions focused on growth, efficiency, customer experience, and innovation.
  • Help customers develop business cases and transformation roadmaps that align technology investments to measurable outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during strategic customer engagements.

Commercial Acceleration

  • Support strategic pursuits and high-value opportunities.
  • Contribute industry expertise to account planning and opportunity development.
  • Help position Hitachi Solutions solutions and services in the context of customer industry priorities.
  • Partner with sales leadership to improve opportunity quality, executive access, and win rates.

Thought Leadership & Market Presence

  • Develop industry-specific perspectives, content, and market insights.
  • Represent Hitachi Solutions at customer events, executive roundtables, conferences, webinars, and partner forums.
  • Support industry-related marketing campaigns and market awareness initiatives.

  • 12+ years of industry, consulting, technology, or business transformation experience.

Base Salary Pay Range*: CAD $180,000  – CAD $225,000

*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
