Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (On-site, Hybrid, or Remote)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and growing law firm, is seeking two Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

· One Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney

· One Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

The firm is also open to hiring one experienced attorney who can effectively handle both pre-litigation and litigation matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 3+ years of Personal Injury experience who are passionate about representing injured clients and can independently manage cases while working collaboratively with a highly supportive legal team.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Attorney

· Manage a caseload of Personal Injury litigation matters from inception through resolution.

· Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients.

· Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and other legal documents.

· Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.

· Handle depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.

· Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate on their behalf.

· Work closely with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process.

· Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure cases progress efficiently and deadlines are met.

· Maintain accurate case files and provide clients with regular case updates.

Pre-Litigation Attorney

· Manage Personal Injury claims prior to litigation.

· Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.

· Communicate with insurance carriers and negotiate settlements.

· Gather medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.

· Prepare demand packages and settlement negotiations.

· Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates.

· Work closely with case managers and support staff to ensure timely resolution of claims.

Qualifications

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

· Active Arizona Bar license preferred, or eligibility to practice in Arizona through reciprocity/admission where applicable.

· Minimum of 3 years of Personal Injury experience in litigation, pre-litigation, or both.

· Ability to independently manage a caseload.

· Strong legal research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

· Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, demand packages, and settlement documents, as applicable.

· Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and/or LexisNexis.

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
