Strength Path Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique needs, goals, and progress, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Provide ongoing counseling and crisis intervention services to individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Facilitate insightful group therapy sessions focused on building community, support, and shared experiences among clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, in accordance with departmental policies and compliance requirements.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to report on patient progress and develop coordinated care strategies.
• Assist clients with discharge planning and care coordination, interfacing with local providers to ensure access to necessary resources and services.
• Engage collaboratively with clients’ families or support systems concerning treatment plans and discharge processes.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and with a range of diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional or behavioral issues. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will allow you to provide sensitive and effective support to clients, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for healing.

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent is essential.
• At least 3 years of full-time experience providing mental health services is required to ensure competency in handling various client scenarios.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently, demonstrating strong self-direction, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, to assist in documentation and communication.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, with a focus on individual and group therapy processes.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain clinical documentation efficiently.
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems available for clients in the Wilkes Barre area.

The salary range for this full-time position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, our benefits package includes:
