Position Overview

Strength Path Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to patients in a remote setting, primarily through telehealth. Your expertise will be invaluable as you conduct diagnostic assessments, develop tailored individualized treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and formulate personalized treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring they reflect the best practices in trauma-informed care.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting engagement and healing among patients.
• Regularly communicate with medical providers to discuss patient progress, address concerns, and collaborate on treatment goals.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with the clinic's policies.
• Provide crisis intervention to patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, assessing needs and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Assist in discharge planning by coordinating care with family members and support systems, ensuring a seamless transition for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Strength Path Wellness Center, you will engage with a diverse patient population. Our clients may include individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various emotional and behavioral disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping them navigate their mental health journeys, providing them with the tools and support needed for recovery and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in providing mental health services is essential.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage caseloads effectively, and stay organized while juggling multiple priorities.
• Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office suite and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a community health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention would enhance your ability to serve our clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
