• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through structured interviews and individual evaluations to identify their needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and are adapted to each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group formats, to assist clients in processing their thoughts and emotions while equipping them with practical and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide clients with a holistic approach to care when necessary.
• Document all client interactions and progress in the EHR system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining confidentiality.

You will work with a diverse client population, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds and your commitment to inclusivity will be crucial in fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and progress. Understanding the nuances of cultural competence in therapy will enhance your effectiveness and help in achieving meaningful outcomes for your clients.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license in the state of Maryland as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
• At least four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of various mental health disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a history of building trusting relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to streamline documentation and enhance care delivery.
• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries, while promoting client confidentiality.

• Experience providing therapy in diverse settings, preferably in remote counseling environments.
• Track record of effective crisis intervention, showcasing the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
• Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development activities, keeping skills and knowledge current in the field of mental health.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
